Spring is imminent. New life and new beauty is just around the corner.

That sense of rebirth is made ever more apparent this year with all that's going in our world and, hopefully, what is a light at the end of the tunnel.

For our second release of the year, Dark Fidelity Hi Fi has produced yet another exquisite release to sit alongside his ever impressive and expanding body of work.

The "Beautiful Fragments" album is the perfect soundtrack to ease us into the season of new beginnings. It's the Manchester based producer's second release in 8 months and follows on flawlessly from his "Machine Blossoms" album last August.

Assembled during the winter months, the album subconsciously skirts around the suburbs of the soul and touches on topics such as the feelings of solitude, being stuck in a loop of digital communications and memories of the not so distant past that somehow feels like eons ago.

The music itself is crystalline and immersive. Spacious in parts and busy in others. Organic ambient soundscapes, glimmering melodies and lush drum work. Somber tones make a rare appearance throughout but are balanced out with the sounds of life and hope as we drift towards a new dawn.
