After a series of outstanding EPs and compilation contributions on Bricolage we felt that it was about time to invite No Arrival to go big and provide us with a full length album.

The mysterious Glasgow native has not disappointed with "Converse".

It's an open plan world of disjointed and cerebral electronics. A strange and endearing world of stuttering rhythmic patterns, wispy layers, fractal backdrops and impeccable sound design. Akin to being lost in a dream.

The music dissolves and drifts between different dimensions all the while being carried further down the rabbit hole by the splicing of various skewered guitars, samples and buzzing bass terrains. The time and effort that's went into the careful building process of each individual track is more than evident and creates a dazzling collection of finely carved complex and organic landscapes.

As 'No Arrival' himself says "It reflects my state of being during these strange times. All the tracks do have specific and general meanings to me, but hopefully anyone else listening will find their own meanings - emotional resonance."
