GrevusAnjl Belial Pelegrim is already well known (and well loved) for his exceptionally original compositions; both in sound sculpting, and in structure. This album has that in abundance. Where ‘Imitation of Faith’ shines is in its dark, cinematic scope; its ability to take control of your imagination, and lead you on a journey through absolute environmental perfection. This is a real treat, folks. Favorite track: Alice.

Mood Exhibit “Imitation of Faith” is an aural journey with fascinating twists and turns, showcasing Pelegrim’s mastery of abstract idm mixed with his brilliant cinematic flair. Most of the tracks have unique shuffling or glitchy beats and clever breaks to carry the wondrous sounds with momentum. As incredibly entertaining as these tracks are, my personal favorite is “Transport” which is the only track without percussion.
